With nearly 200 researchers, the European Technical Center performs essential research in automotive, transportation, cosmetics, and more, serving Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

The European Technical Center in Meyrin, Switzerland, is DuPont’s global R&D Center, one of our primary centers for research, product, application development, and customer support. This is where our leading researchers support polymer and advanced materials innovation from early development through commercialization, using a range of processing, prototyping technologies, and testing expertise.

 
 
 

Milestones

1989

The European Technical Center opened in 1989 in Meyrin, Switzerland, the first of DuPont’s regional laboratories.

2010

The Meyrin Photovoltaic Application Laboratory opened and began work on photovoltaic innovation and state-of-the-art solar module design, with a focus on cost-effective, high-performance solutions for the photovoltaic industry.

2016

DuPont Performance Materials unveiled a cutting-edge 3D suction blow molding machine to meet customer demand for solid performing, cost-efficient, lightweight polymers that effectively replace metal and reduce weight.
